MOINHO - Strategy Game

Introduction
Mill, is an abstract strategy game dating back to the Roman Empire, with trays having been found that refer to a greater antiquity: Ancient Egypt (1,400 BC).
It must be played by two players and each player has nine pieces.
The aim of the game is to reduce the opponent to two pieces or to block him from making legal moves.

-Installation Phase (placing the pieces on the board)
Each player alternately places one of his pieces on the board, on available squares.

Each time a player creates a series of three pieces in a row, he removes an opponent's piece from the board.

This rule also applies to Level 2 (of the game itself). There is, however, one limitation: you cannot remove an opponent's piece which is part of a series of three pieces in a row, unless there are no other pieces to remove.

- Regular Phase (the playing phase of the pieces on the board)
After all 18 pieces are placed on the board, the regular phase starts. In this phase, each move consists of moving a piece along a line to an adjacent empty point.

Mill - tray

Whenever a player creates a series of three pieces in a row, he immediately removes one of his opponent's pieces (of his choice).

As in the installation phase there is one limitation: you cannot remove an opponent's piece which is part of a series of three pieces in a row, unless there are no other pieces to remove.
